DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Spring by creating one of a kind nature inspired art! Nikita will walk through techniques for designing and carving your linoleum block safely\, how to roll out block-printing ink and apply it to your block\, hand-printing your block onto paper to create a print\, different ink applications\, and how to label and sign your work. This block printing approach can be used to make stamps\, holiday cards\, art prints\, analog zine-making\, and more. \nParticipants will go home with a unique piece of art and the block used to make it. DESCRIPTION:Nature takes many forms\, and in this Art with Alcohol Ink workshop you’ll learn to use alcohol inks to create vibrant and colorful art on ceramic tiles. These art prints often resemble some of nature’s most beautiful flowers. In this class you’ll learn about alcohol inks and how they can be applied to different surfaces\, practice using the ink\, and finally make and take home a ceramic tile.
