Freely-given relationships, a strong sense of identity, real work, belonging, and acceptance…these are what we might call –the good things in life” that people with intellectual disabilities and other marginalized conditions have difficulty accessing. This workshop will explore a theory known as Social Role Valorization designed to respond to this situation.
